Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox did not feel satisfied with the level of her abilities compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. But she quit when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Her main role was as The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form the Eurythmics Pop duo. Following that Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. It was an enormous success with regard to sales and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues soul tracks from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You Go... It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a social activist, philanthropist, and singer. At the end of the 70s, she gained a little fame when part in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox started her own solo career, releasing the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and her compilation album contain a variety of tracks. |
