Born on 2 December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model well known for her appearances on movies and television shows. Brandt began her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in a lot of television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born as a child in Cape Town South Africa. In her later teens, she emigrated together with family members in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model when she appeared in magazine and television ads. She also worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and in retail before becoming famous as a fashion model. The first time she was featured, she landed her role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the role of Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl Naevia. As well, she has played the character Naevia in the miniseries that predates Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred on three separate television series, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter for Netflix's popular series Lucifer. This is her largest role to date. This show has her co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
